Maria Simbajon's Memorial and Funeral Fund

Hi, I'm CK. I was raised by my grandmother for most of my life. I moved to Canada last 2019 but I am still supporting her throughout.

My Lola (grandmother) is the strongest woman I know. She has been taking care of every one in the family all her life. She was always there for us from the smallest to biggest parts of our lives. I remember waking up every day to a full breakfast meal, hot milk/milo on the side, and my toothbrush with toothpaste already on top of another glass of tap water. She even bathes my cousins and I, add a huge amount of powder on our backs, dress us up, and finishes with a fresh good morning towel on our backs and a pat of green Johnsons baby cologne. That's how hands on and specific she is on taking care of not only me, but with all of us in the family. I remember every bits of it as it is one of the best moments of my life that I will forever cherish. Nothing compares more than a love of a grandmother, especially my grandmother.

As I grew older, I still look for my Lola. When I was still living with her, there was never a single day that I won't ask, "Asa si Lola?" or "Wheres Grandma?", "Unsay sud.an La?" or "Whats for dinner?". She always cooked us food, always giving us what we wanted and will spend every last penny of hers for us.

Now it's time to do the same.

lola was in pain. She has a trouble breathing due to the water in her lungs. It's really hard and heartbreaking to see her like this.

This is her in the hospital and is waiting for her second operation.
