There’s a side of cat rescue that people may not know about that isn’t glamorous but extremely essential.

Maria who is a colony feeder provides food to the abandoned and stray cats that would otherwise starve.

Maria has sacrificed so much of her life for the last 8 years, every night including holidays feeding over 200 cats /18 Colonies a night. No matter the weather or the circumstances she will not let them down.

It’s definitely a demanding but rewarding role. Only a special kind of Guardian can remain as loyal to those pawsome kitties. If you were to see the way they wait for her, you would see the bond that she has developed with everyone of those kitties.

Maria keeps her eyes out for sick, lost or injured kitties and provides help for them through rescues, vets and fosters.

Maria works all day then goes home and prepares for her nightly colony feeding routine. The love , loyalty and dedication she has to be able to never let her furry friends down is commendable. I wouldn’t want to imagine what would of happened to them without Maria’s devoutness.

I’m asking please if you’re able to donate any amount that will help elevate a lot of pressure as to how she’s going to continue to feed the street kitty’s. As most of you know sadly there are more being abandoned lately and this can help Maria fill their bellies.
