Maria Trezza needs our help for medical procedure

UPDATE,

*Maria had surgery Tuesday. She is expected to be in the hospital about 5 days then transferring to rehab facility. The support has been amazing! please continue to keep her in your thoughts during her recovery.*

If you have have been connected in anyway to Jaime McGee Elementary School or it's before and after school child care program (Shamrock Club) over the past 25+ years then you know Maria.

And if you know Maria you know she has never been the one known to ask for help. She has always been the one known to offer help -- dropping off samples of a recent recipe, helping organize a neighborhood chili cook-off, hosting a trunk-or-treat for kids, unexpectedly showing up at your door with an item from the store just because you happened to mention you liked it. She even built miniature picnic tables for the squirrels during the Pandemic.

But one unpredictable mis-step Monday morning landed her in the hospital unexpectedly with a fractured femoral neck located near the hip. And as you might imagine created equally unexpected financial compromise with the immense cost of the medical procedure which will necessitate a partial hip replacement compounded by an extended 6 month recuperation period largely with no income.

So, if Maria has ever directly or indirectly helped you or your child it's time to give back. Every bit helps and every bit is genuinely appreciated.
