Maria's Uganda Teaching Fellowship

My name is Maria. I am a devoted teacher from Williamsburg Va. I've just been accepted into an LRTT (Limited Resource Teacher Training) Fellowship, training teachers in Uganda July 2-30 2017!

I will be paired up with  fellow teachers and we will, as a team, share our expertise with the practicing teachers of the remote areas of Uganda. The children of these schools have limited resources and very limited english.

The funds I raise will be used for transportation, meals, resources to be used to provide the Ugandan teachers visuals and strategies that they can use with the children, my stay in hostels while I travel from the airport to the remote area where the schools are located, and the backpacking-like accomodations for the three weeks that I am working with my fellow teachers. I plan on raising these funds through donations made here, by offering my housesitting, petsitting, babysitting, and tutoring services. and any scholarships that LRTT can offer me. I am dedicated to working my hardest to make this dream a reality! If you or anyone you know can benefit from my services please give them my contact information.
