Maria Villegas Community Support

Maria Villegas is a strong, independent, single mom of 5 (1 son is deceased). She has a beautiful spirit and helps everyone in need, no matter what their story or situation is.

Maria was in a terrible car accident recently, totaling her car and nearly losing her life. She has underwent 3 major surgeries, and a stoke scare, all within the last 2 weeks. She is still in the hospital maybe for another 3 weeks or more.

Even in the hospital, she is thinking about ways to support her children, without the funds to do so.

She has a 25 year old trying to help hold down the fort at his mom's home and take care of his home as well. She has a 19 year-old in College, 16-year old in high school and a precious litte 6-year old who is in elementary school. All of her children are in Private school and Maria foots the bill for all of their needs. They all miss their mom.

Maria is in the hospital now, still trying to help and give advice to the nurses and doctor’s as well as trying to help all of her residents meet their needs from her hospital bed. We need Maria to get better and focus on her healing but all she can do is think of her children, finding transportation and making sure they have lunch, food, and their needs met. I asked her how does she do it? She says that her strength comes from God and her deceased son (Her angel Jeremiah) She says that she want her children to have a good life and she works hard doing whatever she can to make this happen.

We know that we can’t afford to pay it all for her, but we at least want to help raise the money for her to get a used car, and help with food, bills, the children’s needs, and hopefully tuition.

While Maria is in the hospital fighting for herself and her children, we want to help take some of the financial strain and worry off her plate.
