Maria's Chemo Therapy Fund

Maria Mendez Zubieta or as most of you know her - Momma Z, was diagnosed with uterine cancer in 2011. After several surgeries, two years of chemo and radiation - in 2012, she was diagnosed with systemic lupus. As if her battered body had not been through enough, in 2014 Maria lost her eyesight due to a pseudo tumor cerebra and papiledema. She underwent surgery to relieve the pressure and has had a total of five brain surgeries all due to complications from radiation.  In 2018, she was diagnosed with sclerotic bone lesions and multiple myeloma, thus where we are now. Maria will be receiving multiple chemotherapy treatments over the next four months that will be costly to say the very least. 

I cannot think of  a time when this woman has been called upon and has not been there - whether it be for catering an event or for cheerleading, agriculture, or football . There has never been a child (or adult) to have ever been in Maria Zubuieta's presence and not feel warmth, love and fed! She holds everyone in the same regard and standard - with kindness and love. She turns no one away and knows not how to say "no". Let's help her kick cancer's ass one more time...
