Mariah's Pentasomy X Journey
Donation protected
Mariah was recently diagnosed with pentasomy x syndrome, a rare chromosomal disorder meaning she has 5 x chromosomes. It is very rare and little is known about it, with only around 10 patients ever diagnosed. Some of the known symptoms include hypotonia, developmental delay, intellectual disabilities and congenital heart defects. Mariah has spent much of her short life in the hospital and her family needs help to give her the care she needs and deserves. Mariah is tube fed, on oxygen during the day and bipap at night and needs lots of medical equipment to keep her safe. When Mariah is able to leave the hospital, she will have many follow up appointments with specialists. All funds raised will be used for her continued medical treatment.
