Mariah's Ramadan Appeal 2024

Hello & Salaam!

I have started this Ramadan Appeal with the intention to provide 60 deserving families (approx. 200 individuals) with food packages or cash donations (where applicable) before the month of Ramadan starts In sha Allah.

The food packages will be distributed within Azad Kashmir & Pakistan, where we have identified extremely poor and destitute families alongside widows and orphans. Currently, these families are in desperate need of the basic resources that the majority of the world takes for granted.

This campaign has a 100% donation policy and all the recipients are Zakat eligible. We also accept Sadaqah (please just be sure to state whether your donation is Zakat)

Ramadan Food Packages:

> £20 will feed one individual for the whole month of Ramadan

> £65 will feed a family of 4 for the whole month of Ramadan

The food packages will include a range of essential staple items: flour, rice, dates, sugar, salt, tea bags, ghee, lentils, gram flour, spices, potatoes, onions and concentrated syrup (rooh afza).

The Prophet (saw) said, 'Whoever feeds a person breaking his fast will earn the same reward as him, without anything being

lessened from the reward of the fasting person'. (Tirmidhi)
