Marian Harrison's 90th Birthday Wish
Donation protected
My mother, Marian L. Harrison will turn 90 years of age on March 23, 2021. She has spent her life in Snohomish County as an educational promoter, community leader, political activist, and serving on numerous state and county boards for various service causes. Many news articles have featured her. A more complete story can be found at www.Snohomishwomenslegacy.org. A recent article called "Perspective on the past" included her extensive work with the Black Heritage Project and her family history.
Mom is the mother of seven children and her ancestral legacy is long in Snohomish County. She is the longest attending member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Arlington, WA., where she received First Holy Communion in 1938.
Since a special party honoring her is not possible due to Covid19, we would like to honor her with a life-long wish of visiting Paris, France for 10 days. This trip would be a thrill of a lifetime for her. The only person benefiting from this trip is mom, and whoever accompanies her. The funds will be used for round trip airfare, moderate hotel accommodation, food, and visits to historic sites, museum tours, etc. Hopefully, mom can see Paris in September or after the hottest part of the season, or have an open ticket.
This support will mean the world to me, because mom gives until it hurt and she continues to give. I know how moved and grateful she would be to have this special experience, and to know this gesture was given in honor respect and love. Her health is moderately good, but time is of the essence. I am trusting God for this trip.
Thank you very much for any support you may give. I am extremely grateful.
Respectfully, Sharlynn Bridges, daughter
