Marian L Moss
As you all know in May 2022 mom had surgery to remove the cancer she had it was a lengthy surgery and she had to have a feed tube and a tracheostomy, she had an up and down battle during radiation and chemo. But through it all she had a smile and a positive spirit. Many trips to and from Denver for appointments many trips to and from Scottsbluff, and the trips to fix the feeding tube and trach as she had a good habit of popping them out. She got the ok that things where looking good, she was so happy that she beat cancer!! And then few months back she was told they needed to do extra scans to check the cancer and she was devastated when they told her it wasn't gone, she tried to keep her feeling and emotions hidden. She we started back on the road to doctors and working to get the cancer again had a bunch of speed bumps but she kept her head high and kept moving forward. She had a fall that resulted in her breaking 5 ribs and being in hospital for a few days, the doctor found that the cancer was moving fast and hit a dead end when she contacted doctors in Scottsbluff and Denver. So they sent her home on hospices well she wasn't going to sit around and do nothing so she kept fighting and fighting with the doctors that she wanted something done. She started having bad pain in her throat and jaw and even headaches requiring medication, but despite that she wasn't going to stop. She got an appointment to see different doctors in Denver. On Thursday March 7th she wasn't herself she was having many issues, so my brother and I got her up to the ER and they ran test where they found Elevated leaves in the blood showed heart trouble so they kept her over night went in Friday March 8th to see her and see how things where going they told me that the heprion drip was all they could do for the heart attack that was second worst could be. She was in severe pain, in Respiratory Distress and requiring 12 litters of oxygen going in at about 50%push. And having the bad heart attack and need lots of pain medication and heart rate kept dropping below 35 i called Kyle to come to hospital we went through every Scenario and tried different things in the end we had to respect mom's wishes of no DNR/DNI and the next step was machinery to help breathe so we done the hard and worst decisions I have ever had to make was to go on comfort cares, I stayed at hospital Starting on Friday night. From Friday night to Tuesday she was flooded with all her family husband, kids, grandkids and great grandkids, many other family members and friends. On Tuesday March 12, 2024 mom lost her battle with cancer and went to heaven to dance with the angels(as my grandson says) we appreciate all the care and love that everyone has showed. She was a wonderful lady that will be missed dearly.
Funds will be used to pay for funeral and medical expenses
