Marianne Fighting Multiple Myeloma

Hello and thank you for taking the time to visit this page and to hear Marianne's story. Marianne and my dad got married in July 2015 and she is the best thing that could have happened to him. They got married with their "toes in the sand" and were blessed with a beautiful day to say "I do" and start their new life together. My sister and I along with Marianne's 3 kids (Brad, Kenzie, and Maddie) crashed their honeymoon, and we all went on a cruise together to celebrate love, new beginnings, and the merging of two families. Before the wedding and honeymoon, Marianne went to the doctor for routine blood work. A few days after returning from vacation, Marianne and the family received heartbreaking news: she was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. We were all devastated.
Over the last 3 years, Marianne has undergone 2 bone marrow transplants, lots of chemotherapy, and a relentless battle for her health. Most recently, Marianne received news that the latest bone marrow transplant was unsuccessful. To make things worse, following the transplant, the medicine she was taking to keep cancer levels at bay over the last few years is not working anymore. Marianne has exhausted traditional options and now she is trying to get into an experimental trial. Medical bills haven't stopped over the last few years, and when she is accepted into a trial, there will be significant costs associated with travel. Additionally, she is unable to work due to her health.
First and foremost, please keep Marianne in your thoughts and prayers as this has been and continues to be a constant battle. If there is any room to give financially, every single penny would help with travel costs and continued medical costs. If you don't know Marianne, she is the best human with the biggest heart, and she deserves to fight this fight without having to stress financially.
Thank you so much for reading and for your support.
