Marianne's Angel

Hi This is Barb and Chris, Marianne Moranis's sisters. Many of you know Marianne has been going through some very difficult health issues. She is no longer able to care for her beloved Australian Shepherd Angel, pictured above. Angel is 14, totally deaf and blind in one eye. And the sweetest dog ever! Neither of us can take her because of having our own pets. We have found lifesaving foster care for Angel. It is a wonderful place called Hope before Heaven. The husband and wife team that own this not-for-profit sanctuary for special needs dogs are Linda and Gary. They started this business when they 1st rescued dogs that were being used as bait in dog fights.

All of their dogs are either deaf, blind or both. They have been purposely bred this way by people I can only call evil to be used to train fighting dogs. These two wonderful people were at their maximum of 12 dogs but have agreed to take in Angel. This is strictly a not-for-profit and is funded by donations and the sale of their line of pet treats that are made by a local baker.

In order to take on a 13th dog, they are asking Marianne to provide $50 a week (about $7 a day) for Angels care. Angel also takes medication that must be covered.

Any donations that you make will be used to cover Angel's foster care and medication. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. If you know our sister Marianne, you know how devastating this has been. And It has been a relief to know that her furbaby is in such wonderful care.
