Maria's Legacy, a caring and loving girl missed by us all

On 29th November 2021 Maria our beautiful daughter sister, granddaughter, neice cousin and friend, tragically and suddenly without warning collapsed and died from a sudden cardiac arrest.

She was returning home from work experience at a local children's school.

Maria enjoyed caring for those younger then herself or those less fortunate. She attended whitwick Hall school which caters for children that have varying needs within the autistic spectrum. She was unique and is missed by us all.

By setting up Maria's legacy we through her inspiration wish to continue the help and support of those less fortunate in Maria's name.

On the 2nd of January we will be walking from London traffalgor square back to wolverhampton returning for what would have been Maria's 21st birthday.

We will have walked 124 miles.

There will be no support van.

There will be no accommodation.

There will be no restaurant dinning.

We will be in possession of a first aid kit.

We will be sleeping rough with the assistance of sleeping bags and tent.

We will be eating necessities.

In this we hope to raise funds and awareness for local people and services in need of a helping hand, these include..

Whitwick Hall school in wolverhampton.

A child of mine who provide support to families who have lost a child.

Cry which is a charity who offer subsidised ecgs to children from the age of 14 where screening is the only way to see if there are abnormal cardiac features which would and does stay unknown until a sudden death occurs.

We will be also making donations to a local care home who provide services which include art sessions allowing expression and at the same time offering restbite to the families of those suffering with dementia, Compton hospice who provide palliative care and support to families of those whose family members are at the end of life, and also a local family raise awareness around cancer as they themselves face it head on.

Our journey will also be documented via lives on Instagram and Facebook where we shall also be raising awareness for a lot of other causes.
