Maria's Legacy: A Mother & Teacher's Final Rest

It is with a heavy heart we announce that on March 29, 2025, our beloved mother Maria Amelia Lilly peacefully entered the Lord’s kingdom, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion.

For over 50 years, Maria was a beloved educator in Puerto Rico, California, and Miami-Dade County, Florida, touching countless young lives.

Maria was the heart of her family and a beacon of selflessness and strength. She was predeceased by her loving husband Jimmy Lilly and is survived by her siblings Antonio, Maria Lucia, and Maria Ines; her children Albert, Jimmy II, Shenara, Jessica, Lee-Henry, Michael, and Robert Lilly; and her eleven cherished beloved grandchildren Kana, Jesiah, Xiwan, Jahzrah, Valentina, Sapphira, Noemi, Jimmy III., Lillianna, Lucas, and Kalel and many other children she considered her own.

Maria’s love and legacy will continue to shine through the many lives she touched.
