Funeral for Maribel Macedo & Armando Gomez

My name is Flor, and I am kindly asking for donations for the unexpected passing of my beautiful aunt Maribel Macedo Dominguez and her wonderful husband Armando Gomez Sanchez. These donations will be given to their daughter, Isela, to cover costs.

Mari (44) & Mando (51) were married on 07/11/ 2009. For their 10-year wedding anniversary, they were able to throw the wedding of their dreams. They were surrounded by all their loved ones, family, friends, members of their church, and their community. They were caring and giving, to anyone in need. They were the ones our family reached out to for advice and guidance. They gave the family step-by-step resources and were there almost every step of the way to ensure that person was given the best care and/or correct information. They were the cheerleaders of everyone's accomplishments. They were the ones hosting larger gatherings for birthdays, and special occasions. They were godparents to a lot of children. They were always present.

On December 23rd Mari and Mando, and other family took a trip down to Texas to see Mari's mom and other extended families to celebrate Christmas. We have a family group chat, and through that, we received pictures and videos of their stay. After they left Texas on 12/27, Mari and Mando took a detour to Florida to enjoy the honeymoon they weren't able to give themselves. We received beautiful pictures of them enjoying their time and bringing us along for their trip with videos of the views and photos of their visit.

On January 3rd, Isela was given the heartbreaking news that her parents were involved in the accident of the 21-vehicle pile-up on I-75 on New Years.

Due to the unexpected deaths, the donations will count toward transporting Mari and Mando from Florida to receive them back home in Chicago, all funerals and services, and the continuous medical care that Mari's mother needs because Mari was the sole caretaker. Mari is survived by her only daughter Isela, and Mando by his 5 children. Isela is caring the heavy tasks of handling all this on her own, until Mandos children arrival. For the time being the date for their service is currently unknown due to the ongoing investigation of the accident.
