Maricela Leon (García)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Maricela (Marcy) Leon (García).

Marcy was a selfless woman who always put others ahead of herself, even while sick or in pain; she always gave everyone her all. Unfortunately, Marcy was suffering from her lifelong illness of diabetes along with other complications until her fight was finally over. Now Marcy is getting the rest and peace she always deserved.

Marcy had just turned 41 years old 2 months ago. Marcy was always known for her joyous spirit and great sense of humor. Her smile and laughter was contagious and brought joy to so many people around her.

Marcy was an exceptional cook. She cooked a wide variety of foods from different cultures, each one being a mouth watering meal that brought the family together. Her greatest joy was being around those who loved her, spending time in the great outdoors, and creating new memories.

Those who had the privilege of meeting and knowing Marcy immediately fell in love with the beautiful soul that she was. She was beautiful inside and out with the most gorgeous eyes.

Marcy had great faith in the word of God and the promise of a resurrection. Job 14:15 says,

“You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands.”

She had found comfort in the promise of the resurrection when Jehovah will call her back to a healthier happy life where she would be reunited with the ones she loved.
