Marie & Marlena

As most of you may already be aware, Marie was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer last month, a cancer that isn’t curable, and at most, at best, manageable. After already battling cancer in the past, this tough little cookie is up against it again. In the space for one month she has endured already such devastating news and set backs… just as we think she’s on the up, something seems to creep in and cause another mountain for her to climb.

Marie has already undergone her first round of chemotherapy and next week will be standing up once again and saying f*ck you cancer as she takes her next course!

Marie is an amazing, kind, caring, loving person

… and we want to give her and Marlena, her 9 year old daughter, an amazing day, weekend, or trip ( depending what we raise ) for them both to enjoy when she’s fit and ready too! They’ll be able to make some pretty awesome memories together too!!

If you know Marie, you’ll know how she is very competitive.. she won’t give up without a fight, and she hates to lose.. so we know once she’s better this memory will be everything for her.

So… on the evening of the 26th April myself, Natalie Wright and Claire Wright will be jumping out of a plane, to raise as much money as we can to support our friends day out, and we would you to donate anything you can to give them this treat! I’m sure if Marie could she’d be jumping outta this plane too! But in her honour we’ll take one for the team for her.
