Mariel Diaz; tragic death on MOTHER’s DAY.

Our names are Steven Kuo and Damir Nanic and a very close friend of ours by the name of Eli Diaz, Kitchen Manager of Hook and Reel Kearny, tragically lost his sister on Mother's Day, this past Sunday, May 12th due to an accidental and tragic drowning.

Mariel Diaz was 36 years old and is survived by 2 children; an 8 month old baby girl and a 7 year old boy. Mariel was a loving and incredible mother, wife and daughter. The fact that this heartbreaking incident happened on Mother's Day has left the family in an inexplicable amount of grief and lament.

Please find it in your hearts to donate in order to help with funeral costs and so that Eli and Mariel's family can sleep just a tiny bit better knowing that we are thinking and praying for them. Nothing is too little or too much. In these painful and traumatic times, we are certain that Eli and Mariel's family would be enormously appreciative of anything which you are able to contribute!
