Marie's Fundraiser for Creating Freedom Movements
Tax deductible
I'm deeply honored to be a participant in the 2023-2024 cohort for Creating Freedom Movements (CFM)!!
This is an 18-month intensive cohort program for emerging & established grassroots change-makers with a shared vision for racial, gender, disability, economic & transformative justice. CFM nurtures visionary grassroots leadership by building beloved community and cross-issue solidarity. In addition to my weekly workshops, I'll also receive mentorship and support while we build "Justice & Joy Projects" in collaboration with my CFM community.
I feel SO GRATEFUL to be learning from over 40 respected social justice educators, artists, healers and grassroots organizations over these next 18 months. I was absolutely glowing after the first meeting with my cohort - honestly ya'll - it felt like coming home.
While the true cost of this class is $9000 per participant, CFM does not select people based on what they are able to pay. The sliding scale begins at $0 for anyone that chooses to apply, which is pretty awesome!! In an effort to support CFM's goal to make this program truly accessible for all, this fundraiser helps pay the core facilitators, the care team, and those who coordinate all the behind-the-scenes work.
I hope you will consider financially supporting this experience I’m about to embark on. You can learn more about Creating Freedom Movements here: www.creatingfreedommovements.org
