Marilyn's brace fund

I had polio as a child, and have worn a custom leg brace since then. Every few years I have to have a new one made because the mechanics wear out. Yes, I have had a lot of them through the years.

I am currently having a new one made and the cost is $5,338.30. My health insurance covers 80% of this, but I am responsible for the remaining 20%, or $1067.66. Hopefully the new brace will be done in August, and I will have to pay the balance at that time.

I would be most grateful for anything you are able to give me to cover this cost.
