Marina Vera Memorial

On May 30th, 2023 Marina earned her wings and reunited with the Lord.

Marina Vera was so much to so many people: Nana, mother, sister and friend. She would light up any room with her bright smile, hugs and laughter. She was kind and caring always willing to help anyone in need. She was a faithful child of Christ and her faith and love for God was indescribable.

For the last year of her life our beloved Marina battled stage 4 breast cancer that metastasized to her brain . Although she fought long and hard her body was just too fragile and tired.

During her last hospital stay Marina was fighting pneumonia but her body didn't have strength to win this battle.

The good Lord decided to take her home and restore her body. Now there is no more pain or suffering and she can rejoice in the Lord. We thank God for the time he blessed us with having her in our lives. Our hearts will forever love and miss her. The joy and happiness she brought to our lives will always be remembered and the memories of her will live on in our hearts each day.
