Mario Alessi Family
Doação protegida
It with great sadness, and heavy hearts, that we share the loss of our great friend and brother, Mario Alessi. After a long hard fought battle with cancer he passed away very peacefully on July 4, 2019. All funds raised will go to his devoted loving wife of 17 years, Betsey, and two daughters Grace (15) and Valentina (14), who have been caring for him around the clock. Mario was a huge part of our family for many many years, and was an important part of the extended family at Caffe Riace. We know he was deeply loved, touched by many, and will be sorely missed.
His illness forced the family to close their business Trattoria da Gino, named after his late father, a restaurant near Roseville, where they had most recently moved, which had always been Mario’s dream to open.
We are raising funds to cover any uncovered medical expenses and funeral costs that are needed for this family, while grieving their great loss. To all the friends of Mario and his family, please keep them in your prayers and we can't thank you for your support!
We are in process of also seeing up a memorial for Mario which will be held at Caffe Riace in the next few coming weeks. We will be updating with more information on that very soon.
Thank you for your kindness,
Maurice & Giuseppe Carrubba
