Hello, I’m writing this request to ask for financial assistance for my brother Mario Lewis aka Tau Baraka. Mario has come across the throes of some serious unforeseen medical problems. On April 20, 2017, Mario was admitted in the hospital, he had a very serious emergency spinal surgery. Due to the severity of the surgery … he will not be returning to work anytime soon … my brother is self-employed and in itself is going to create some disastrous financial implications as far as everyday life … when he don’t work he has no income.
Mario is a Community Activist and over the years he has given so much to the Southeast San Diego Community. Mario is one of the founders and former president of 100 STRONG, a community advocate group working in areas of social justice, community health and safety, education and economics.
100 STRONG, has gained local and national attention with progressively pushing the front line on many issues effecting people of color and underserved communities. Mario has received many awards with his work in helping those who lack the resources to help themselves.
He’s also involved with the Beta Selam Academy, Co-Founder at Reclaiming the Community, Co-Founder at STOP the Genocide Movement, Former owner of Uncle Creole Soul Café the Famous Imperial Master Barber and currently at Cornerstone Barber & Beauty Designs. Any amount will be greatly appreciated.
Southeast San Diego Mario/Tau needs your help!
Peace and Blessings,
