Funds are being raised to assist Mario receive long-term care or home health care. Health insurance companies have denied him the care, HCA Poinciana in Kissimmee Fl is not prepared to care for long periods or acute illnesses, HCA can only stabilize after emergencies and transition patients to other facilities. With your help, we can assist Mario L Rosario, if you can find it in your heart to contribute to helping Mario receive the care he needs. We would be eternally grateful if you can assist by donating He is currently in ICU battling after a cardiac arrest which caused anoxic brain injury brought on by lack of oxygen to the brain due to extensive heat for prolonged periods of time while working,

Mario was at the time semi-retired working as a security officer in Kissimmee Florida, after 28 years of dedication to assisting in South Florida Tricount/ Boward county Communities afflicted by HIV/AIDS and hunger, homelessness, and addictions. He was a family man that would always assist families and friends in their times of need without prejudice. Whenever a family member needed help, Mario would never deny them help or support and provided. ALWAYS a Giver, no one would go hungry or be in need of a bed or have personal debts as he would always provide without questions and be very reliable as well as loyal. He was Uncle, cousin brother, friend and confidant to many.

Since 1993 Mario was a proud supporter of the fight against HIV/AIDS as the adjoining founder of Poverello's Thrift Store and Foodbank located at Wilton Manors South Florida. Marios vested himself in fighting Hunger, Home Healthcare needs Homelessness, and Addiction Intervention in the community without prejudice his caring energy assisted in the branching of the Poverello center to help with other needs such as hurricane assistance, pop-up food distribution and fundraising and branching out the Poverello thrift store to new additional locations. As thrift Store manager he was committed and successful in growing revenue for the thrift store that aided so many in the Tri-county area for 28 years, he would greet you with a welcoming smile and you would receive a helping hand whether it would be a pair of shoes a shirt a bed, or a loaf of bread. Mario brought the same love and caring energy to his own TLC Thrift store in Margate advocating for teens in need.
Mario's Heart is big and we hope that you will find it in your heart to assist him and his family with their mounting medical expenses and assistance for long-term health care. He is currently on a respirator but stable his vital organs are intact. Your donations would make a difference in assisting Mario. We are grateful for any contribution.
