Mario's Car Accident Hospital Fund

Hi all, 

Firstly,  thank you for taking the time to view this Gofundme page. 

I have set up this page to help raise some additional funds for my uncle's hospital fees in Zimbabwe. My uncle's name is Mario and he was  involved in a tragic car accident on the 13th September 2020 in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. 

Mario sustained many injuries which included a broken hip and leg joint. The general hospital he is currently in unfortunately do not have the specialist equipment or doctors to complete the surgery he needs. Accessing health care in Zimbabwe is quite pricey and although many of the fees have been covered for his day to day care, we have to have him admitted to a private hospital for his surgery and after care. The private hospital has quoted a total of $5000 USD (£3927.55) for his operation and after care.  

I have created this Gofundme page in order to raise the remaining fees to ensure that my uncle can get the care that he needs. The hospital has stated that the total cost is to cover the operation, the theater space and for the doctors who will treat him.  It has been difficult for my mum and I to raise these remaining funds alone and we would appreciate any support and donations that you can give. 

Any donation, no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated and will go towards supporting his medical care.
