Marion Co Murder-Suicide Sole Survivor

Hi my name is A.J. and I am fundraising for my cousin Aaron Pursley who was the sole survivor of the Marion County TN murder/suicide on 6/15/23.

Aaron is currently still in the hospital after surviving the heinous shooting that led to the death of his fiancé, Brittnee, along with her 3 children & her mother, Regina. Gary Barnett annihilated this entire family on the night of June 15, 2023 and Aaron’s life will never be the same.

I wanted to help ease the burden of such a tragic event by helping collect monetary donations to go towards Aaron’s needs once he is able to come home whether it be medical bills, monthly bills, or groceries. Aaron will be out of work for a while and we all know even though the paycheck stops coming in, the bills do not.

Aaron was shot 3 times. Once in his right hand, once in his back right shoulder, and once in his left abdomen/side. He suffered a collapsed lung, 3 broke ribs, and also had surgery on his hand where he lost his middle finger.

Aaron will also be having many therapy appointments to help recover as much as possible mentally after witnessing & surviving such a senseless act.
