Mario's Dialysis Expenses

I think all of us Clallam County folk have gotten the opportunity to meet Mario Martinez. If for some reason you haven't, I'm sure you have seen him on just about every football field or basketball court. He is always spending all of his free time refereeing for our youth.
He gives so much time, effort and fairness to our community and at this time, could use a little help for his family.
A year ago, the Martinez family found out that Mario had stage 4 kidney failure. On August 10th of this year, it had advanced to stage 5.
On September 30th, they found out that his GFR dropped significantly to 6. GFR stands for Glomerular filtration rate and a healthy range is 60 and above. Unfortunately, they were informed that emergency dialysis was his only option and he was scheduled for surgery on Oct 30th for his port. He will start dialysis this week.
Amy will start administering in-home PD dialysis 7 days a week for 8 hours. This will be continuous until he is able to get a kidney transplant. This will have a huge impact on finances due to the days they are unable to work.
This has taken a huge toll on this amazing family physically, emotionally and financially. Of course, they did not want to ask for help, but I think we can come together as a community and show this family some love. He takes time away from being a husband, a father and a friend to make sure our kids can have a fair game.
Thank you so much for your time and please know, anything helps!
I am also creating a TakeThemAMeal for them because any extra time right now is helpful!
