Mariposa, CA Oak Fire Victim

Hello! My name is Jen. I was raised in Mariposa, CA, where I spent my childhood in nature with my family and loved ones. My aunt, Karen Cordova, sadly lost her home to the Oak Fire in Mariposa, CA on Saturday July 23rd, 2022. She lived in that home with her son, Cole, for approximately 15 years. Friday, July 22nd, she was asked to evacuate within in 10 minutes. She had enough time to take her son, her animals and the clothes on her back. Sadly, she has lost everything. Thankfully they are safe, but she will need help to rebuild her life. She has been a paramedic in Modesto, CA for the last 35 years. She has dedicated her life to helping and serving others. Now, we her family, are asking for help and generosity from those that know her and those that don’t.
