Marissa Kaye Potts
On November 20th 2016 an angel from Waldron Arkansas went to be with Jesus. This angel was born On Feburuary 4th 1990 in Waldron, Arkansas. She was born to Jody and Charlotte Potts with little to no hope of ever going home or having a normal productive life.
She stepped up to prove the medical field wrong and show everyone that faith, love, and support of loving parents can make anything happen.
Marissa struggled with seizures caused by a birth defect that made fluid accumulate on her brain. She overcame so much and blessed her family and friends with her big smile and caring heart for 26 years. She showed those around her that attitude is everything.
Marissa had confidence in herself and would share her feelings and love with anyone that would embrace her. She had so much love to give and will be remembered as the little happy girl that "Could".
Marissa's parents knew she would want to donate her organs so that someone else might have life. This is a true gift for a parent to give and there was no hesitation because Marissa wouldn't have had it any other way!
Marissa's legacy will be her big smile, loving heart, innocent views and caring thoughts about her family.
She will forever be a little giggle box in the memories of her family.
Please consider donating to help Jody and Charlotte lay Marrissa to rest. Jody and Charlotte have given their last penny to not only raise their special needs child but also gave all they could to raise their 6 grandchildren when they were needed despite their own health issues.
Please help this family that has dedicated their life to giving whenever they were needed.
Thank you so much. Any and all help is needed and appreciated. Information is still being gathered but the need is immediate.
Marissa loves her nieces and nephews and will be so very missed.
