Marissa Lehto Memorial Fund

We are heartbroken over the recent loss of such a special and loved family member and friend. Marissa was extremely talented, passionate, loving, intelligent and kind. She enjoyed writing and performing her poetry as well as drawing, painting and doodling cartoons and comics. She had a passion for the culinary arts and created the most amazing things with whatever ingredients she could find in her kitchen. Her smile and laughter were contagious. She was such a beautiful person, inside and out. She loved animals, especially her beloved Mac, Tank and Beau.
At this difficult time, we are raising memorial funds to ease the financial burden the family has endured over these difficult past few weeks. Many family members and friends have reached out with how they can help and we cant express our gratitude enough. To honor Marissa’s dream, to one day help others who have endured physical and emotional abuse, my family and I have decided whatever we raise above the goal will go to the nonprofit organization that helped Marissa her last few weeks while she was in Maine. The organization where she received help is called the Family Violence Project. There are not enough words to express the gratitude we had for the time we got to spend with her, nor the sense of loss we have endured losing her. We will be forever grateful for those who have helped our family during this extremely difficult time. Your love and support means more than we can express.
