Marissa “Roo” Riley’s funeral fund

Marissa “Roo” Riley - This sweet baby has been sent to heaven entirely too soon. 

To lose someone is hard enough & to lose a loved one leaves a tremendous void, BUT for a parent to lose a child is a tragedy and completely unfathomable.  

Just a few days before Christmas, Marissa, 21, was involved in a fatal car wreck, passing away, leaving our dear friends, (mom) Kisha Jones & James Shaberekh (local drummer in Houston’s music scene) spinning and in a place no one should ever be. 

“Roo” was loved by every single person who crossed her path. She was bright, funny and brought so much light to this world. 

The family is now left with the unthinkable task of taking care of and making arrangements for her funeral to send her home to the angels. 

COVID-19 has already made things hard this year, but it has also impacted the family’s income.  Add the expenses associated with Roo’s untimely death.
