On April 7th, 2016, my mother, Marissa Parker, suddenly lost her life to a massive stroke. She was a super woman that touched every one around her. She raised my older brother Tim and I, alongside my grandmother, and sacrificed everything to give us an opportunity to live toward our passions in life.
She is truly loved by many. She was the strength that held our little family together and was also the strength of people around her. She tried to help people in any way she could and worked so hard to support us and all her family in the Philippines even when she barely had anything. She was so kind and had a beautiful heart and mind.
At the age of 55, this has been so tragic for our family. We are still in shock and are asking for help in any amount to pay for her funeral costs and services. Any extra money will be used to help my brother and I get back on our feet since she was our main financial support.
We're very proud of my mom's life and want to honor her in a way that she deserves, in the way she worked so hard for all her life. I 100% understand that not everyone can give but please share this and share her story.
