WE ARE MARIST RUGBY TEAM!!. What you may not know is that all College Rugby Teams are considered a club team. We do not receive the same funding or support as the college NCAA teams do. The school does support us but we do depend heavily on donations from our booster club parents and our friends and family.

College Rugby falls under the National Collegiate Rugby Association. The association does create D1, D1AA, D2 and Small College Divisions. We are striving to be a very competitive D2 Rugby Team. Going into this year we were ranked top ten in two different National Rankings. 10th by the NCR ranking system and 6th by Goff Rugby. Rankings shift each week of play. We are currently ranked 9th in both polls. We are busy working to climb! We would LOVE YOUR HELP to keep moving on!.

What we have accomplished: Despite changing conferences this year, we are UNDEFEATED in regular season play, with only one Try (ie Touchdown in Rugby) scored against us. Let's hope we keep THAT up as we head into CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP PLAYOFFS!! In both 2022 and 2023 Red Foxes went undefeated! We have made it to the sweet sixteen National Collegiate Rugby( NCR) Tournament both years for the Fall 15’s. In 2022 for the Spring Sevens we won the Conference Title to earn a place at nationals and had only one loss in 2023 but remained undefeated in Conference Games. Six Marist Players have represented Marist at the National All-Stars in Houston Texas the last two years. We are psyched about these results!

We have a lofty goal both on and off the field. We need your help to get as far as we can in Fall 15s and Spring 7s Rugby. Every little bit will help us get needed coaching and equipment as well as help us travel to places we need to get to. Come cheer us on if you can! Wish us luck in Conference Play Offs! This has been, and is a pretty cool journey. We hope to make it to Nationals in both Fall & Spring! Once there, with your help, we hope to get further than we ever have before. Wish us luck!!
