Marjorie McClure School Fund

I'm running the London Marathon in October to raise money for my son Oscar's school, Marjorie McClure, a special school that serves pupils with complex physical, medical and learning needs aged 4-19 in the Bromley area. The school is being moved to a new build site in January 2023 as the current site is too small and no longer fit for purpose. Much like house insurance, the building itself is funded, yet the contents are not. Therefore, as you can imagine, a school set up like this requires a vast range of bespoke, interactive and sensory additions to enable the necessary therapies and interventions, which unfortunately comes at a substantial direct cost to the school. As such, the charity has been set up to raise funds for on-site projects such as a Rebound Therapy Room, Accessible Playground Equipment, Sensory Rooms, including an Immersive Sensory Room and Sensory Panels and much much more. The school has been absolutely fantastic for Oscar over the last 6 years, and this is our way of showing our appreciation and giving something back to the amazing staff and pupils. Every penny does count and directly contributes to such a wonderful project.
