Marks story
Mark is aged 35 he is husband to Cheryl and step father to Jack, he also has 3 boys of his own Jake, and twin boys bobby & Aaron all boys are under 15.
Mark is a east London boy born and bred and has always been a person to help whoever he could anytime without question wears his heart on his sleeve and has love for everyone he meets. He grew up at home with his Mum Rita and older brother Steven.
In 2010 Mark met his future wife Cheryl who has a son Jack , when he met Cheryl it was like they both found their missing puzzle piece.
They were complete and had found their happily ever after, so much so cheryl popped the question and asked mark to Marry her that leap year,
They got engaged sadly in that same year mark lost his mum to cancer. Mark and Cheryl got married in August 2014 , but in 2015 mark found out he has testicular cancer he had this removed and he was given the all clear and the family carried on with their simple but happy family life.
Only to be given another devastating blow for mark to become very ill in September 2018 with stomach bloating and other problems.
In November 2018 we were told that he has a rare cancer (appendix cancer) this cancer has no cure , through all of this Mark is always positive and getting on with life he is still helping everyone without complaints or question never asking for anything in return, even helping the loacal scouts with events etc through his illness he still continues this work.
To date Mark has had 25 rounds of chemo with in the hope that the cancer would not spread, it was all going will until 3/02/2020 when we received yet more Devastating news that the chemo had stop working ! This is when they told us that mark had only months left with his family & friends . In true mark style he took this news well and just got on with it.
Although Everyone close to Mark are finding this news incredibly hard we are trying to deal with the thought of losing him and the gaping hole it will leave. Mark will leave behind a loving wife a step son and his 3 boys. Mark is a proud man and would never ask for help but understandably the next few months and beyond will be incredibly difficult for Mark and his family, Our family should be planning holidays and future not planning this amazing mans last journey.
So if we could kindly ask if anyone can make any contribution to this wonderful kind selfless man we would really appreciate anything you can spare. As a family this is incredibly difficult time and we thank all of our friends and family for all the love and friendship you have shown Mark and the family over this tough time we will never forget your Kindness from the bottom of our hearts
