Mark and Debbi

Hi all. This is Shannon, this amazing couples youngest, and only, daughter. As many people know my Mom, Debbi is disabled due to a severe car accident and then after a stroke and brain bleed she developed Vascular dementia and then Alzheimer's, making it dual dementia.

Since the day my mom was diagnosed my father, Mark, has dedicated himself to caring for my mom. He's an amazing caregiver and husband. Due to this he had to make ends meet by becoming an Uber driver. It was the most flexible job that allowed him to be at my mom's side at a moments notice.

3 days ago my father went into the ER with severe blinding pain in his stomach. He was convinced it was a UTI or something that could be treated with ease and he'd be home the next day. Unfortunately that's not how things went. He was diagnosed with diverticulitis.- disease of the Colon. Things are currently unknown as to when he will be released but with no insurance and no way to work he is fearing for the future instead of focusing on getting better.

To ease some fear and strain I am doing all I can to help. I am taking care of my parents and their bills but it puts a strain on my financial status as I have my own household to support.

I am calling on all family and friends to donate if they can. If AT ALL possible. My parents have the biggest heart and all they do is love. I cannot express enough what he does for his family and friends. And my mom would also if of sound body and mind.

Please help if you can. And pray for a speedy recovery so he is back home with his wife who misses him dearly and back to driving, something he truly enjoys.
