In Loving Memory of Mark Pickerill.

Hi, my name is Laura Harper, and Mark was my beloved uncle.

On the 12th of April, we lost Mark suddenly and unexpectedly. He was truly larger than life—a devoted husband, a proud father, a loyal friend, and the kind of man who lit up every room with his laughter and warmth. His absence has left a hole in all of our hearts that words can’t quite fill.

Mark was the main provider for his household and worked side by side with his wife Dawn as a remarkable team. Together, they built a life full of love, strength, and shared dreams. With his sudden passing, Dawn and the family are now facing not only unimaginable grief but also the heavy burden of unexpected financial pressures—especially around funeral arrangements and immediate household expenses.

We’ve created this GoFundMe to help ease some of that weight. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference and help give Mark the farewell he deserves while supporting Dawn and the family as they begin to navigate life without him.
