Thank you to all who have donated and we are now closing down this page.

We are meeting with a number of voluntary groups and agencies who supported Mark to explore how best to use the funds for a memorial and will update this page and social media when a decision by those groups has been reached.

A reminder, Mark was a quiet man who made the areas around Market Walk in Newton Abbot his home. He lived the life he wanted to live and was happiest in his quiet space, with his newspaper and books - he loved to read.

He was supported by residents, faith groups, business and wider community of Newton Abbot and further afield.

We know that many residents of Newton Abbot and Teignbridge may want to contribute to a memorial for Mark and we are happy to collect on behalf of those residents. As a local registered charity we are able to work with local charities, churches and faith groups to explore what might be a suitable memorial, that Mark would have considered appropriate.
