On Sunday, May 27th, our family suffered a devastating loss with the death of a beloved family member, Mark Brackett. His death was sudden and unexpected to all who loved him. He was 55 years young, extremely active, and seemingly very healthy.
As our family works to make sense of his death and starts to work through our insurmountable grief his children are also faced with planning for and financing his funeral arrangements.
Mark was a devoted father, grandpa, son, brother, cousin, uncle and friend. He was one of the hardest working and most giving person you could encounter. Mark’s talents were many and his love for family and friends fierce.
Unfortunately, his talents did not include end of life planning. His children are now faced with not only the horrible loss of the cornerstone of their family but also the high cost of paying for the arrangements and burial.
Mark leaves behind 3 children: Paul, Lauren, & Mark Jr., 5 grandchildren: Emma, Owen, Nolan, Sullivan, & Mia, as well as his parents Bob and Sylvia, four brothers: Bob, Scott, Steve, Barry, and a sister, Diana as well as many nieces and nephews.
He gave so much of himself and never asked for anything in return. He showed his loved by giving his never-ending support. We thank you for anything you can do to help memorialize Mark and ease the family’s burden.
