Mark Estus Memorial Fund

Donation protected

On April 9th, 2020, Mark Estus was on an overnight fishing trip with some friends and was affected in an ATV accident in which took his life due to the injuries. Mark's survived by his wife Jill and daughters Emily and Sara, as well as his mother and father, Trudy and David Estus, his sisters Denise Stiegel and Dawn Del Sontro.

About Mark:

Mark was not only a loving father and husband, but a son, uncle, and friend to many. He touched many people's lives and would help anyone if he could. He was a very hardworking, understanding, loving and caring man. He was 46, born June 24th 1973, graduated in 1992 from Canon-McMillan High School and attended University of Pittsburgh, as well as graduated from ITT Tech. Mark married his beautiful wife Jill on June 5th 1999.

He loved the outdoors, going fishing, working in his garage and playing video games. He was always a busy bee, never sitting still and never staying home when he was off work, always doing errands of some sort or working on a project of his, but would always make time for his family, especially his wife and daughters.

About the fundraiser:

As his oldest daughter, myself, my sister and my mother, we are asking in lieu of flowers that you consider donating funds as he did not have life insurance. We know many who are curious on how to help and we decided this was the best method rather than flowers. We appreciate all the support and love we've received as we grieve. If you cannot donate, a message of support is appreciated as well, there are also options on the obituary website page. Unfortunately, since COVID-19 is around, the service is private.

Obituary for Mark

Poem:
As a tribute to him, I had written a poem and I will share it here for everyone to see.

It's never the right time
To say goodbye.
I will miss you, daddy,
And here is why.

You taught me so much:
To show no fear,
To always have fun,
And face the day with cheer.

You were always so able,
So fast and so strong.
In your little girl's eyes
You could do no wrong.
You would always listen,
And you never pried.

You were the arms around me
When I cried.
You never looked for praises,
And you were never one to boast.

You were always there
For those you loved the most.

You worked so hard,
And those strong working hands
Led me through life
And helped me understand.

That life can be hard,
And tough, and sad,
But through it all
I had my daddy.

And because of you,
I understood
That life was actually
Pretty good.

I believe in you
And will follow your path,
And when things go wrong,
I'll look back and laugh.

I hope you can hear me
So I can let you know
That you were and will forever
Be my superhero.

So yes, today
I am full of sorrow,
But I will smile a little more
With each tomorrow.

So please, daddy, go
Be at rest
And know to me
You were always the best.

I love you, to the moon and back, daddy.
I'll see you real soon.
Spend time with our doggies.

Just remember I love you.
Momma loves you.
Sara loves you.
To the moon and back.

Thank you so much for supporting and being there for him, as well as me, my sister Sara and my mother Jill at this time.
