Memorial Benches for Mark Everson and WW1 & WW11.

Donation protected

Mark Everson,  much loved  and long time resident of Southbourne passed away in January 2021. He was involved in many aspects of village life being church organist, serving on the Parish Council, performing with Southbourne Players and playing the piano accordion for the  Morris Men. He loved nature and he worked as a tree officer for the council.

I, Sue McNeill, am one of the Churchwardens  at St John’s Southbourne and we felt that fund raising for at least one bench would be a fitting memorial for Mark.
The piano bench would be suitably engraved and fixed against the south facing wall of the church.

Further funds would enable the purchase of WW1 and WW2 benches from the same company which would form part of an ongoing project with the Parish Council to upgrade the war memorial area.

Thank you for your interest and donation.
