In Memory of Mark Fabiano

Mark Fabiano left us far too early. A proud graduate of Immaculate Heart of Mary and Catholic Central High School, he loved his family dearly and took pride in raising his daughters with all of the IHM and CCHS traditions. Mark delighted in hosting friends and family at the cottage, cheering his daughters on at their sporting events, rooting for CCHS and Michigan football, and providing well for his family.

Although he fought dementia as best as he could, he suffered many years, more than many realize.

Initially it was challenges with managing the household. Tommie graduated from CCHS and went to GVSU as things began to worsen for Mark. As it evolved, behavioral and personality changes came, eventually making it difficult for Sarah to care for him at home while she worked to attempt to pay the bills. Samantha has remained at CCHS and is surrounded by great classmates, some of which she has been with since Young 5’s at IHM. Sarah has been an amazing wife, advocate, and caregiver. The family is extremely grateful for the love and support all have given them over the years.

The next time you go to a rock concert, see a sunset at any lake, or attend a CCHS or Michigan football game, pause and say a prayer for Mark.
