Mark Frye Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Anyone who knew my father, Mark, would describe him as being one of the kindest, gentle, loving and hard working men they have ever known. He loved people just as they were and would go out of his way to help friends and strangers alike.
It was difficult to see his quick decline in health due to Lewy Body Dementia. In just a few short years, he went from working full time and singing with his beloved choral group to passing away due to complications with the disease. As time progressed, the disease accelerated its affect on his mind at an ever-increasing rapid pace.
He was a kid at heart, living in the present, caring for his family, but never really giving much thought to his future financially. With the rapid rate of the disease and the lack of a plan in how to finance his golden years, his two sons are now left to do this without many options available.
We are not asking for much, but would like to provide a simple memorial service where the many people he has touched may come together to honor his legacy. We would also like to bury his remains and set up a memorial stone in his favorite small town where he grew up, Irwin, PA.
Thank you for a gift of any amount. I hope that my father's life and story makes an impact on you to continue with the same heart of kindness and compassion which he humbly portrayed.
