Mark Gerdes Liver Transplant

Hello, my name is Carol. My sister is Regina Gerdes and her husband is Mark Gerdes( my brother in law). On March 21st he was rushed to Barnes in St. Louis for liver failure. This was very unexpected for them. His kidneys have also taken a hard hit and they are not sure if he might have to have a kidney transplant also. There are al lot of unknowns at the moment. They are having to stay there and not able to pay for all the extra expenses that are coming there way. Her room alone is 70$ per night. And of course her food daily. They are on disability and let’s be honest that really doesn’t cover much. They don’t know for sure how long they will have to stay as they are still running test and trying to make sure he is healthy enough to do the surgery. ANY donations are very appreciated. I will post any updates as soon as I get them from them. They could always use some prayers too.
