Mark Johnson's Funeral Care

My name is Phil and along with others, we are looking to raise funds for the funeral costs of a close friend Mark Johnson. Unfortunately, Mark passed away Sunday 29th Jan 2023 in his sleep which came as a complete shock to his Partner Fiona. As news filtered through to close friends and the footballing community it left everyone in a complete state of shock and sadness. Mark was due to start a new job in a matter of weeks with his other passion, the railways. However, we found out he had no life insurance in place at this time.

We are looking for support and to take the financial burdens away from Fiona at this incredibly sad time so that we can give Mark the send-off he deserves.

It is hugely important to me and many others that we can unite together and raise enough funds to help with the funeral costs. Mark was a real football person working at Carnoustie Panmure Football Club for many years, he would go out of his way to help anyone including many others at various football clubs and assist and advise them whenever they reached out to him. Mark also sat on the East Regions Scottish Junior FA board and worked with the Junior Football Clubs across Scotland and was also a voice providing football reports across Tayside and Angus for local newspapers.
