Mark & Jolene Schwartz

Hi, my name is Judy and I am one of Jolene's aunts.

By now you have probably heard of the terrible house fire that happened on Sunday, April 21st, which unfortunately also happened to be Jolene's birthday. Most importantly, they are all fine. Mark and their youngest son, Jackson, were treated for minor burns and smoke inhalation but were released that evening. Jolene's dad, Dave, sent out a message to the extended family that the garage and part of the house were completely burnt. There is extensive water and smoke damage everywhere. They are unsure if the house is salvageable, and expect it to be a total loss. They will most likely need to replace all of their belongings.

They've had so many other challenges to overcome in the past few years, not the least of which was Mark's double lung transplant. This fire will compound the day-to-day difficulties that they already have.
