Hello everybody! My names Nic Garvin and I’m a friend like many of you to Kato. Yesterday on 3/30/2022 Mark was out shooting for Dirt Rider Magazine in the hills of Hesperia. As they were doing an off-road shoot out for upcoming models. Later on in the day they went riding where our friend experienced what he thought was “heat exhaustion” but, we now know of a Heart Attack. Thus, ultimately led to having Kato have TWO stints in his heart.
Mark has been around now for over 35 years, helping grow our off-road community. A lot of your race pictures, posters, magazine shoots come from Mark himself. As we all know he is a one man show and gets the job done. Just like your passion this is his passion as well!
We all know Mark to be a kind and friendly figure and it’s time for us to step up for OUR friend. I’m asking you to please help donate to Mark as the next few weeks will be tough and Mark will not get to travel to keep up on his ‘job’, which is covering your race!
