Mark Lombardo

Our hearts were broken Friday as we received the news that our beloved Mark passed away. He was a bright light with a kind, caring, and humble personality and a heart of gold loved by many.

Mark has been employed with the VA for nearly 15 years, selflessly and whole-heartedly providing support to our country's bravest men and women during some of their most difficult times. In the days that have followed Mark's passing, the stories and outpouring of love have been indescribable showing the incredible man that he was.

He is survived by his sons, daughter, and girlfriend. Mark's youngest, his daughter Gabby, will only remember her dad through pictures, videos, and stories. Gabby's mother, Carmela, is now left as a single mother and the sole caretaker of Gabby. The emotional and financial hardship from Mark's sudden passing has already begun, and will continue for days, weeks, months, and even years to follow.

In holding this fundraiser, we hope that his friends and community will help take some of the financial hardship away from his grieving family. All donations will be provided to Gabby with the hopes of reducing financial stress from her and her mother.
