Mark Moore’s Recovery
Donation protected
On Saturday, January 28th my dad, Mark Moore, was shot by an unknown individual while hunting just south of Olathe, Kansas. He was walking near Hillsdale Reservoir when he suddenly felt the bullet hit the left side of his chest. The impact sent him to the ground, short of breath and in shock. He called out to the person that fired the gun, but heard no response. He did not know the severity of the injury, but by the grace of God, the bullet narrowly missed the major blood vessels in his chest. Fortunately, he was able to use his phone to call family and 911. The heroes of the EMS teams quickly arrived on the scene and flew him to Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Their incredible staff provided world class care to get him stable and started on the path to recovery. We are counting our blessings and are so grateful that he is still with us. This could have easily been a worse outcome, and it’s truly a miracle from God that his life was spared. We want to thank everyone who sent prayers and positive messages to my dad and our family. The power of prayer is impactful and real. Throughout this event your support has been incredible. If you feel the inclination to further help our family a donation can be made towards my dad’s medical bills. Every penny donated is a blessing, and we cannot thank you enough for your charity.
