Save a life! Help Mark Morreale get a kidney.

Hello, all. My Uncle Mark has been struggling with one health issue after another for the last few years. Unfortunately, his health issues ended up pushing him out of his teaching job at Marist, he loved so much.

Since one kidney was removed 1.5 years ago for cancer, he has to be cancer free for 2 years before the actual transplant can take place.

Countdown begins now.

The transplant will take place at Weill-Cornell Pres Hospital in Manhattan.

In the months leading up to this, he will need scans to ensure he is cancer free for the transplant to take place.

In the meantime he has been recovering from:

Recent shingles and nerve damage, an aortic tear a foot long, that was repaired last year with a 10% survival rate - he miraculously survived. Other countless medical issues with his kidneys, liver and heart.

He has also endured several years of hours of 3x a week kidney dialysis.

Our family is asking for assistance to help him offset the costs of multiple trips to NYC from his home a couple hours away, that will pay for housing, food and transportation, to and from the hospital, as he goes in for repeated scans in hopes he gets the all clear soon for the actual kidney transplant to take place.
